Janet
Kraus
Chief Executive Officer and
Co-founder
Janet co-founded Circles in 1997
and drives our vision and strategy. Her strong understanding
of the value of loyalty and relationship marketing
has made Circles a leading provider of concierge and
personal assistance services and has guided Circles
through an 100% increase in revenue over the last two
years.
What drives Janet? “Innovative
business ideas, fresh marketing and advertising stories,
people that make a difference in the world. For myself,
helping and watching people grow is what truly wows
me.”
She considers attracting passionate people to Circles
her most significant accomplishment. She loves the
fact that “you walk in and feel the energy of
the place. People want to be around the energy.”
Janet believes the Circles mission is to “make
magic moments for people, help people make those moments
and make the most of their lives.”
Prior to co-founding Circles, Janet
served as Director of Values and Vision for The Body
Shop and was responsible for the social strategy and
marketing initiatives that differentiated them from
other cosmetic competitors.
While receiving an MBA at Stanford's
Graduate School of Business, Janet's knack for entrepreneurship
became evident as she spearheaded the financing and
building of the first multimedia center with access
to the Internet.
Janet was a finalist for the 2003
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and
was recognized as one of Boston Business Journal's
Top 40 Under 40. Circles received the Greater Boston
Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award
for 2003.
