A member planned a trip to Disney World with her son to relax after what had been a difficult year, including her son undergoing cardiovascular surgery.   It was her son’s first time at Disney World and she wanted to capture the experience on video.  When she arrived at their resort in Orlando, she realized she didn’t bring the right attachments to charge her new video camera.


After unsuccessfully trying to resolve her problem by herself, the member finally called her employer's concierge service for assistance. The Concierge suggested a few options that came to mind but none would work for the member. The Concierge then suggested purchasing a new camera and making arrangements for it to be delivered by the next morning. The member was excited as she had not thought of this option.  The Concierge called several local stores but couldn’t get them to deliver the camera by the next morning.  Undeterred, the Concierge decided to utilize the member’s hotel concierge and work together to help the member.  The Concierge asked the hotel concierge to charge the member’s room for the cost of the camera and have a driver take the money, pick up the camera, and deliver it to the member.  The hotel concierge agreed to help and the member received her camera just two hours later!
